Track leads and enquiries on the pipeline
See every lead and open estimate on a board, move them along by dragging, and find the enquiries that come in from your website.
Updated
The Lead pipeline shows your sales at a glance. It has two boards: one for estimates and one for leads.
Use the pipeline
- Go to Lead pipeline in the Sales part of the menu.
- Choose Estimates to see estimates by status (Draft, Sent, Viewed, Accepted, and "Won — job created"), or Leads to see contacts by stage (New lead, Qualified, Customer and Lost).
- Drag a card to another column to change its status or stage. Click a card to open it.
Under the estimate board, Recently lost lists declined estimates with the reason each customer gave.
Where new leads come from
- Your website and enquiry forms. Each enquiry creates a lead — or is added to the existing contact if the email or phone number matches — and appears under Marketing → Enquiries.
- Instant quotes. Customers who price their own job arrive the same way, with the price they saw. See Let customers price their own job.
- The customer portal. Existing customers can click Request service.
- You. Add leads by hand, or import them from a spreadsheet.
Good to know
- You can't drag an estimate into Won — job created. Open the estimate and click Create job instead, so you can choose a date.
- Owners, administrators, managers and sales reps get a notification for every new enquiry. Switch on the Welcome new leads automation and people who enquire also get a short thank-you email.
- Leads from your website and instant quote are given the lead source Website or Instant quote automatically.
- Marketing → Lead sources shows leads, jobs won, conversion and revenue for each source. Add what you spend on a source to see your return.
