When Jobber may suit you better

If you work alone and pay for a year up front, Jobber Core costs $29 a month — less than Recoatly. Core is listed for one user, and automations, QuickBooks sync and route optimization start on Connect.

Recoatly does not do these things yet. If you rely on any of them today, check the Jobber plan you are considering:

  • QuickBooks or Xero sync
  • Google Calendar sync
  • Native iPhone and Android apps — Recoatly runs in the browser and can be added to your home screen
  • Measuring from satellite imagery

Moving from Jobber

Export your customer list from Jobber as a spreadsheet (CSV) and import it into Recoatly. Names, companies, emails, phone numbers and a service address come across, and anyone already in your account is skipped by email address. Then set up your price book and you can send your first estimate.

Questions, answered

Is Recoatly cheaper than Jobber?

For a team, yes. Recoatly is $39 a month whatever the size of your team, while Jobber’s listed monthly prices run from $49 for one user on Core to $399 for ten users on Grow. If you work alone and pay annually, Jobber Core at $29 a month costs less.

Can I bring my customers over from Jobber?

Yes. Import a spreadsheet (CSV) of your customers — names, contact details and a service address. Duplicates are skipped by email address.

Does Recoatly do everything Jobber does?

No, and we would rather say so. Recoatly does not yet sync with QuickBooks, Xero or Google Calendar, and it runs in the browser instead of as a native app. It does include estimates with e-signature, scheduling and dispatch, invoicing, online card payments, a customer portal and automatic follow-ups in its one plan.
