When QuoteIQ may suit you better

If you work alone and only need quotes and invoices, QuoteIQ’s $29.99 plan costs less than Recoatly. Automations, the client portal and QuickBooks sync start on its $199.99 plan, and route optimization on the $299.99 plan.

Recoatly does not do these things yet. If you rely on any of them today, check the QuoteIQ plan you are considering:

  • QuickBooks or Xero sync
  • Google Calendar sync
  • Native iPhone and Android apps — Recoatly runs in the browser and can be added to your home screen

Moving from QuoteIQ

Export your customer list from QuoteIQ as a spreadsheet (CSV) and import it into Recoatly. Names, companies, emails, phone numbers and a service address come across, and anyone already in your account is skipped by email address. Then set up your price book and you can send your first estimate.

Questions, answered

Is Recoatly cheaper than QuoteIQ?

For teams, yes: QuoteIQ’s listed prices run from $99.99 for two users to $299.99 for ten, plus $25 for each extra user, while Recoatly is $39 a month for any team size. For one person who only needs quoting and invoicing, QuoteIQ’s $29.99 plan costs less.

Can I bring my customers over from QuoteIQ?

Yes. Import a spreadsheet (CSV) of your customers — names, contact details and a service address. Duplicates are skipped by email address.

Does Recoatly do everything QuoteIQ does?

No, and we would rather say so. Recoatly does not yet sync with QuickBooks, Xero or Google Calendar, and it runs in the browser instead of as a native app. It does include estimates with e-signature, scheduling and dispatch, invoicing, online card payments, a customer portal and automatic follow-ups in its one plan.
