The job checklist records the wood species, moisture readings and the stain color and sheen the customer approved, with photos before and after. The floor refinishing agreement puts the same choices in front of them to sign.
Prep and care emails, sent for you
When the job is booked, the customer gets a short list for getting the rooms ready. When it’s marked complete, they get the dry times and how to look after the new finish. You read the wording and switch them on.
Deposits that hold the date
Ask for a deposit by amount or percentage. A deposit invoice goes to the customer the moment they approve, and what they pay comes off the final invoice.
