My day: your jobs on a phone
Technicians start on My day: today's stops in order, with directions, gate codes and one-tap start, clock-in, photos and notes.

When a field technician signs in, Recoatly opens on My day: everything you're booked on today, in order, laid out for one thumb. Owners and office staff can open it under Work in the menu to see their own assignments the same way.
What's on My day
- The clock: whether you're clocked in, for how long, and a Clock out button.
- Working on now: the job you're on at the moment.
- Today: each stop in time order, with the customer, the address, the gate code and any access notes, and buttons for Directions and Call.
- Tomorrow, or your next working day, so you know where you're starting.
- Tasks that are overdue or due today. Tap the box next to one to mark it done.
Work through a stop
- Tap Directions to get directions in Google Maps, or Call to phone the customer.
- When you arrive, tap Start job. The job moves to In progress and your clock starts.
- To add photos or a note, tap the + button at the bottom of the screen and choose Take a photo, Add photos or Write a note. They're added to the job you're working on.
- Tap a stop to open the full job. Run any checklist under Inspections on the Field record tab, then tap Complete job, add your notes and let the customer sign on the screen.
- Helping on a job someone else started? Tap Clock in on that stop, and Clock out when you leave.
What technicians can see
- Only the jobs you're assigned to, not the whole company's work.
- No invoices, payments or profit figures.
- You can record expenses on your jobs and see the time logged on them.
Good to know
- My day refreshes itself every couple of minutes, and whenever you come back to it.
- Photos are sorted into before, during and after automatically, and they're shared with the customer in their customer portal.
- If your company uses the crew tracker, a Share my location while on shift switch appears under Location. Your position is recorded only while you're clocked in, only you can turn sharing on or off, and turning it off deletes what was recorded.
